Gregory Firestone, Ph.D.
Gregory Firestone, Ph.D. is an internationally recognized mediator, mediation trainer and public speaker. A former practicing clinical psychologist, Dr. Firestone specializes in promoting conflict resolution, collaboration and constructive negotiation and has more than 30 years experience mediating a wide range of disputes. He now serves as President of My Florida Mediator.
Greg taught at the University of South Florida for more than thirty years and during that time founded and directed the USF Conflict Resolution Collaborative (aka Mediation Institute) where he trained thousands of mediators. Dr. Firestone has lectured throughout the United States and internationally and is a frequent public speaker at national conferences and conventions. He has also published numerous articles in the field of mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution.
Greg also enjoys studying, performing and teaching comedy improv as a means to teach professionals how to work more collaboratively together and with clients. His interests also include film and storytelling where he works to promote and support the art of filmmaking.
